Physical Education and Health

Our Physical Education and Health curriculum promotes physical, social, and emotional development. Students have opportunities to learn life-lessons through a wide variety of activities. Along with fundamental movements, emphasis is also placed on self-confidence, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and leading a healthy, active lifestyle.

Basic movement skills are taught in the lower grades and then enriched in the upper grades through a wide variety of games and sports. Games are used to develop coordination, agility, and fair play. A wide range of team and individual sports are gradually introduced into the curriculum, and activities are taught according to overall needs and readiness of the grade level.
