Our Physical Education and Health curriculum promotes physical, social, and emotional development. Students have opportunities to learn life-lessons through a wide variety of activities. Along with fundamental movements, emphasis is also placed on self-confidence, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and leading a healthy, active lifestyle.
Basic movement skills are taught in the lower grades and then enriched in the upper grades through a wide variety of games and sports. Games are used to develop coordination, agility, and fair play. A wide range of team and individual sports are gradually introduced into the curriculum, and activities are taught according to overall needs and readiness of the grade level. The Middle School students also participate in rock climbing, yoga, and fitness training as part of their curriculum.
