My name is Cathy
Hollis. This is my seventh year here at El Dorado as
a preschool teacher, and my 26th year teaching at
the preschool level overall. |
Prior to moving to Arizona, I
taught classes for two-, three- and four-year olds, as
well as working as the director of a small nursery
school.
I hold a Master's
Degree in Education from Brooklyn College and worked
for several years as a teacher in the New York City
school system. I believe in teaching the whole child,
not just the academic learner. Children learn by
doing, by sharing experiences, by interacting with
their peers and adults. The classroom and the school
is their community. I thoroughly enjoy working with
young children and know what a wonderful pre-K
experience your children will have this year here at
El Dorado Private School.
