My name is Daniel Drogan and I
have been a teacher/coach here at El Dorado since 2001.
I received my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with an
emphasis on Education from Pennsylvania State University in
1999 and received my Arizona teacher certification in 2001.
Before moving to Arizona, I was an undergraduate assistant
coach at Penn State University where I worked under
legendary coach Joe Paterno. While getting recertified for
teaching in the state of Arizona, I also worked as a
personal trainer and exercise specialist at the Camelback
Inn Spa and Resort.
In addition to teaching all
Physical Education classes at El Dorado, I also coach fifth
through eight grade students in all after school sports
including flag football, soccer, basketball and softball.
For third, fourth and fifth grade students, I run an after
school intramural program that prepares students to play in
the after school program. The sports league that our school
participates in is called the United Spirit League and I
have been the director of this league since 2002.
