Welcome back to another
exciting school year. My name is Kathleen LeMoine and I am
looking forward to working with all of the sixth, seventh,
and eighth grade students this year. This is my fifth year
at El Dorado Private School, as well as my fifth year in
beautiful Arizona.
I was born in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, to parents who were both teachers. I
graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts
majoring in History and English. I married a Marine Corps
Officer, had four children, and moved west which explains
the various universities I attended and the variety of my
experience. I earned a California Teaching Credential from
San Jose State University and a Master's Degree in
Curriculum from Gonzaga University, WA.
This is my twenty-third year of teaching. I
have taught from grades three to eight, and this is my
twelfth year in middle school. I have been a proud faculty
member of schools in Salinas, California; Tustin,
California; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Kaneohe, Hawaii, as I
moved with my husband and family from military base to
military base. When my husband retired from the military
after thirty years, we settled in Arizona and I was
delighted to join the staff of El Dorado Private School.
