Mr. Smith taught high
school band and music in the Baltimore suburbs for a number
of years before moving to Phoenix, where he's lived for two
years. Prior to El Dorado Private School, he was a K-8
music teacher in the Balsz District in Central Phoenix. An
accomplished clarinetist and conductor, he has played with
the Alexandria Symphony, the Washington Civic Symphony, the
Mt. Vernon Chamber Orchestra, and directs the St. Stephen's
Chamber Winds and the Arizona Repertory Orchestra. He has
degrees in Music and Music Education from the University of
Michigan and the University of Maryland. |
