Language & Literacy, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Spelling and Research Skills are developed through advanced methods of teaching. Reading comprehension and critical thinking skills are emphasized.

Our Mathematics instruction focuses on accelerated development of skills which include fractions and decimals, writing mathematical sentences to represent a situation, ratios and proportions, geometric principles and proper usage of protractors, calculators and compasses.

Our Science curriculum includes observation and use of critical thinking skills. Social Studies include map and globe skills, historical figures, understanding a variety of cultures and individual rights within a democratic society. United States and World History are also taught extensively throughout the program. Computer skills are increased using keyboarding, word processing, presentation, desktop publishing and spreadsheet programs. Physical Education provides these students the opportunity for a positive attitude and development of body management skills. Foreign Language, Music and Art Appreciation provide the Intermediate students with an opportunity for enrichment activities.
