  • 1st PAC Meeting - Aug 23

    PAC (Parent Action Committee) is hosting its first meeting on Wednesday, August 23. The meeting will be held at 8:45 in the Multi-Purpose Room. All parents are encouraged to attend. Find out what PAC is all about and the many ways, small and large, you can support the students, staff, and school!

  • Safety Week - Week of Aug 21

    During the week of August 21, Kindergarten and Preschool students will be involved in a safety program. Scottsdale police officers will go through several programs with the students including topics on water safety, bicycle safety, and Stranger Danger.

    All students will learn and practice our fire drill and lockdown procedures. Sun safety will be addressed by Coach Drogan in his P.E. classes, and Mr. Guerin will discuss internet safety in Technology.

  • First Preschool Spirit Days

    The first Preschool Spirit Days of the year are Monday, August 21, and Tuesday, August 29. Have your preschooler show their EDPS spirit by wearing a school shirt!

  • Basketball Tryouts
    Basketball tryouts for the 2017 Fall season will be held on Monday, August 21, and Thursday, August 24, from 3:30-5:00pm. Tryouts are open to all middle school students.. Please contact Coach Drogan for additional details.
  • Character Education - Leadership

    This week, as part of our Character Education Program, the 1st-8th grade students are focusing on the character trait of leadership.


  • Family Directory

    The EDPS Family Directory is now available!

    To change which information you would like included in the directory, click on Web Forms under School Information. From there, click on Family Demographic Form and then the Custodial Parent Form. At the bottom of this form you can choose which information you would like to include or block from the directory.

  • August Newsletter Posted
    The August Newsletter has been posted. You will find the newsletter under Resource Documents.
  • Year in Preview

    Our Year in Preview night is designed for your child(ren)'s teachers to give parents an overview of what to expect in the classroom this school year. They will discuss daily classroom schedules and routines, philosophy, discipline, policies, and other important details. Any questions you may have about the program will also be answered. It is a great time to discover and understand what the teachers have planned for your child this year! This event is for adults only, so please plan accordingly in order to join us.
